Dennis, As I indicated on the other board Cancun does have some good diving but it is limited. Since you have already had a bad experience with a dive that did not live up to what it was to have been just try Cozumel. Cozumel is the best diving in the Caribbean. Fresh reefs, large varity of marine life, the coral still remains spectatular. Cozumel does offer many different hotel and diving packages to meet must about everyones taste and budget. I have been to Cancun 9 times and always make at least one trip down the Cozumel for just the diving. This time we are going to be staying in Cozumel and take advantage of all the reefs that we have always enjoyed plus the others that we wish we would have had time to do. We leave in just over 2 1/2 weeks and can hardly wait. No place on earth can guarentee that everything will be perfect however from my experience Cozumel is as close to it as it comes.
