Just returned June 22nd. It's true, the drinks are watered down, the lines are long & the hotel staff (especially the bartenders) were jerks. If you've stayed in an all-inclusive before you'll probably like the place. If you've ever stayed at anyother all-inclusive you'll know what an over-priced dump this is.
We'll never go back their again.
I figure the travel agents are getting really high commissions to book here.
If you are a snorkler you'll have to go on a snorkle boat because there is no reef, just sand bottom at this place.
Sand Dollar Sports (Dive,Snorkle & fishing) boat vendors are hard working & fairly honest bunch working out of the hotel. Expect to pay 10 dollars for a cab ride to anywhere & the same back to this place.
It is located about 3 miles south of Chaakanab National Park, not between Chaakanab & the Presidente as indicated on most site maps. This place is a scam from the word go. If you've ever been to Cozumel, you'll be very disappointed in the Reef Club. I was.
