Rainy week, huh? The forecast for last week ranged from 30% to 60% chance of rain. We had a 5 minute downpour while we were having dinner at the Turtle Bay in Akumal on Thursday the 10th. And I guess a few drops on the windshield on the way to Xcalak Saturday morning the 12th. Otherwise nothing but sunshine with a scattering of clouds the rest of the week. So much for forecasts. Of course, we all know how reliable the forecasts are in the tropics. If it's raining, wait a few minutes and you can get a nice sunburn the rest of the day.
